This is a great way as a student or young adult whos still in school to gain experience in the automotive industry working around all departments of the C. Harper Auto Group and its 9 locations. 

Job Summary: The C. Harper Auto Group is looking for a Seasonal Maintenance Team Member for the summer months. This position's duties and responsibilities are to maintain and keep all buildings and grounds of each location in top condition, to ensure full and productive use of the C. Harper Auto Group facilities, and to maintain standards set by company guidelines and regulations. This applicant will have labor duties including; grass cutting, and can be responsible for moving and transporting the dealership's vehicles or maintenance equipment.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checks lighting fixtures and changes/replaces light bulbs.
• Participates in a variety of general maintenance tasks.
• Performs minor wall/drywall repair and painting; minor repairs. 
• Maintains parking lots and signage, clears storm water grates, paints curbs and stripes lots, and fills potholes.
• Transports tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles at times.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscaping and maintenance of lawns and formal plantings.
• Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Ability to operate riding and push mower, power tiller, power edger, weed whip, blower, sprayer, tractor, and basic hand and power tools.
• Clean driving record. 
• Ability to perform minor maintenance of grounds-related equipment.
• Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to bend at waist and knee, push and pull up to 50 pounds, standard range of motion, physical abilities to climb stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds, and operate light machinery. This job is subject to the environment and may require the use of some special equipment.
